State laws contain mandates to protect the public's health and safety and Empire’s primary concern is the health and safety of our employee and clients. We are DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation) compliant and licensed. For more information on DEC visit http://www.dec.ny.gov
The mission of the US Department of Transportation (USDOT) is to serve the United States by ensuring a fast, safe, efficient, accessible and convenient transportation system that meets our vital national interests and enhances the quality of life of the American people, today and into the future. Empire Snow Removal holds firm to this same mission and is USDOT compliant. http://www.dot.gov
Most, if not all, occupational fatalities are preventable through hazard recognition and control, effective employee training, and appropriate selection and use of personal protective equipment (PPE.) With one of the highest OSHA-identified hazard rates in the United States, the green industry must focus on improving its safety standards. https://www.landcarenetwork.org/PLANET
The Accredited Snow Contractors Association (ASCA) is a trade association dedicated to advancing the needs of the snow and ice management industry. ASCA members are snow and ice management businesses, suppliers of snow and ice equipment, subcontractors performing snow and ice services, and others allied to the field. http://www.ascaonline.org/
To ensure the highest quality service, Empire does not utilize subcontractors. All snow management professionals are Empire employees.
